In reply to your letter of the 25th instant, I am directed by Secretary Sir E. Grey to say, for the information of Mr. Secretary Bonor Law, that there would appear to be no objection to the importation of unset diamonds into Hong Kong from the United Kingdom provided that the packets bear the seals of the Diamond Export Committee stamped with the names of L. Breitmeyer and Company, V. Litkie and Company, and A. Mosebury.
